Event Operations Lead

JOB OVERVIEW

The YOM Event Team is an essential part of our mission to bring joy to our communities through ice cream and the Event Operations Lead is the foundation of our team. This is a fast-paced detail-oriented support role focusing on the execution of community events, including preparation, transportation, and customer engagement. 

CORE CHARACTERISTICS

  • Full-time + Part-time Available
    • Weekends + some week days
  • Compensation: $16-20/hr + tips (~$5-10/hr for events)
  • Location: greater Metro Atlanta area, indoor/outdoor, primarily at farmers markets, festivals, and conventions

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Event Operations Lead is responsible for the preparation, management and transportation of event materials and team members to and from locations around metro Atlanta and staffing events as needed. This includes but is not limited to customer engagement, sales support and problem-solving on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal vehicle with a trailer hitch 
  • Experience driving with a utility trailer (or similar)
  • Drivers License
